9/9/2023 0 Comments Update enderal launcher![]() In June 2012 SureAI announced a new total conversion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, called Enderal: The Shards of Order. SureAI won PC Gamer's mod of the year award for Nehrim, which was also a contestant for best role-playing video game. Mod DB selected SureAI as one of the best modding teams of 2010 for Nehrim: At Fate's Edge. Nehrim: At Fate's Edge was released in 2010. In May 2009, SureAI released Cube Experimental, a mod for Fallout 3. Shortly after releasing Arktwend, SureAI began work on their next project, a full conversion mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion called Nehrim: At Fate's Edge. Both of these mods (and SureAI's other full conversion mods for The Elder Scrolls games) are set in the fictional world of Vyn. Myar Aranath released in October of 2005, along with SureAI's official website. In May 2005, SureAI merged with another modding team, Black Raven, who were working on their own Morrowind total conversion project called Myar Aranath: Relicts of Kallidar. SureAI's first project, Arktwend: The Forgotten Realm, began development in March 2003 as a full conversion mod for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and SureAI itself was founded in October 2003. They have also released 1 standalone commercial project, with another set to release in late 2022. SureAI has released 6 total full conversion mods, which are all free since they modify pre-existing games. Seems like a real hassle to make this mod run.SureAI is a German team of video game developers, best known for creating several total conversion mods of Bethesda Softworks' The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series. Vortex seems indeed to be too complicated and unintuitive for me, I fear. Or maybe I'm just too much of a noob.Įdit: No luck so far. Using Vortex instead of MO2 should work just fine. So until someone re-compiles the MO2 game_plugin file for Skyrim SE specifically for use with the GoG version, using GoG Skyrim with MO2 is kind of janky, especially if you want to be using both Steam Skyrim and GoG Skyrim at the same time (which for a lot of people makes sense because there's no way to downgrade the GoG version to anything other than the first GoG release, which is the newest version that's not supported by a lot of mods yet, anyway). MO2 reads from and writes to a couple of folders in documents/ and appdata/local/ that get created when installing the game, unfortunately, the GoG version uses different folders. GoG Skyrim isn't supported by the current MO2 release. Or is there a way to simply copy all the Enderal files into a copy of the Skyrim folder, overwriting files? I'd like a "portable" version where everything is in one folder.Īnyway, thank you for your help and insights. I'd much prefer as simple installer like it's the case with Nehrim or a solution like with the Steam-version of Skyrim. Has anybody found a way to run Enderal or is there something I did wrong?īy the way: If find this a rather cumbersome way to run Enderal. I also deactivated my virus scanner to avoid its interference but it didn't help. Unfortunately only Skyrim gets started this way. I downloaded and unpacked the most recent skse64_loader-files into the Skyrim folder (the one compatible with the GOG version of Skyrim) and run skse64-loader.exe I downloaded the Enderal-files from the torrent and copied them into the "mods" folder in Mod Organizer 2's own folderĦ. I opened a new instance for Skyrim SE within Mod Organizer 2Ĥ. I installed Skyrim (the Special Edition as recommended)ģ. ![]() Unfortunately I'm unable to run the total conversion itself. I tried to install it, following the "How to install" section here: I just read that Enderal SE now officially works with the GOG-version of Skyrim:
